Ryan Moar first became interested in healthcare in 1999 when he took an EMT-Basic course while preparing to work as a white-water rafting guide in Colorado. Ryan continued his quest for adventure by only applying to nursing schools in places he had never been before and wound up in Maine. He graduated from the University of New England, in 2006, with a degree in Nursing. Ryan began his nursing career by working in critical care, which has continued to be his passion. He spent time working as a critical care nurse in the areas of Liver transplant, Surgical ICU, and Burn and Trauma. He earned two master's degrees from the University of Rochester, In Rochester, NY. His first master’s degree is a Master’s of Science in Medical Management and his second is a Master’s of Business Administration with a specialization in economic strategy.
In 2016 Ryan transitioned from the Bedside to working in management. He has managed several units, and currently enjoys a position as the clinical manager of the Burn Care Unit at Nevada’s only verified burn center: Lions Burn Center at University Medical Center, in Las Vegas, Nevada.
In 2023 Ryan signed up to Beta test the new Certified Burn Registered Nurse exam, becoming one of the first in the country to be certified. He joined Solheim Enterprises later that year.
